Chiss Poachers

The Chiss Poachers were a group of Chiss hunters present in the Kashyyyk system during the Galactic Civil War. After the Battle of Yavin, the Chiss were active in the Etyyy region of Kashyyyk where they maintained a settlement. Contrary to other hunting groups, such as the Rodian Hunters, that paid the Galactic Empire for the authorization to hunt creatures on Kashyyyk, the Chiss established themselves on the planet without requesting any authorization. The Chiss Poachers also had a base in the Kashyyyk system. The Chiss' vast financial holdings kept their supply lines running smoothly and their access to numerous independent shipyards keep their fighting vessels on constant patrol. In space battles, Chiss pilots flew Kihraxz assault fighters, Ixiyen-class fast attack crafts and YKL-37R Nova Couriers.
