Chiss Senate

The Chiss Senate, also known as the Chiss parliament or simply the Parliament, was a ruling legislative body of the Chiss Ascendancy formed from at least twenty-eight colony worlds of the Ascendancy and presided by senators—House leaders who were democratically elected by a colonial vote. Every Chiss citizen, along with the four or more Ruling Families—Csapla, Nuruodo, Inrokini, and Sabosen—were also represented in the Senate. The Chiss Senate was headquartered in the House Palace in the city of Csaplar, on the Ascendancy's capital world of Csilla.
