Coruscant Emeralds

The Coruscant Emeralds were a grav-ball team that played on the Core Worlds planet Coruscant during the Imperial Era. Edi Myrtaan, a keeper for the team, had a significant fan following and appeared in a number of recruitment materials for the Galactic Empire. After disappearing, Myrtann later resurfaced as a member of a rebel cell on the Outer Rim planet Sullust, after which the Rebel Alliance quickly adapted its propaganda to make use of him. In 35 ABY, the historian Beaumont Kin mentioned the Coruscant Emeralds in his book The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire.
