Coruscant League

The Coruscant League was a grav-ball league on the Core Worlds planet Coruscant. During the Imperial Era, the Galactic Empire used grav-ball in its propaganda and broadcasts of tournaments were often accompanied by recruitment messages featuring popular players. Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin sometimes attended games on Coruscant. The file Grav-ball's Greatest Games: Coruscant League had information about the Coruscant League, which the historian Beaumont Kin referenced when he mentioned the league in his book The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire in 35 ABY In the book, Kin noted that while Tarkin had attended the matches, it was unclear if he actually had any interest in grav-ball.
