Crion, the governor of Telos IV, formed an army towards the end of his life in an effort to ascertain power and ultimate authority on Telos. Crion successfully appealed to his son, Jedi Padawan Xanatos to side with him when the latter and his Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn came to the planet to mediate an end to a civil war.
The army was disbanded when Jinn impaled Crion and Xanatos, who had fallen to the dark side of the Force, fled the planet for parts unknown only to resurface as the head of the Offworld Mining Corporation.
