Degan Explorations

Degan Explorations was a corporation of parent pharmaceutical company Chiewab Amalgamated Pharmaceuticals that served as a scouting and exploration organization. During the Clone Wars, Degan Explorations scouted the Iakar system and uncovered rare chemical compounds that would be suitable for bacta replication and other medicinal uses on Iakar. Chiewab established a research facility, yet Chiewab's competitors, Fabreth Medical and Merisee Prime were able to intercept transmissions and set up their own operations.

The Iakaru were forced to defend their homes and forests, but corporate security forces massacred resistance and were victorious.
