The fatalists of Plootark IX were a mysterious group found on the planet Plootark IX. The fatalists are credited with the invention of absolute disruptor technology that caused Class-D disintegration, also known as transcendental annihilation. The technologies that resulted from their invention, such as Class-D detonators, were outlawed across the galaxy because they were considered an affront to life.
