The Four Sages of Dwartii were controversial Nouanese philosophers and lawgivers who lived in the early days of the Galactic Republic. In an era of Sith domination, a number of bronzium statues honoring the Four Sages were made. In the waning years of the Republic, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, who was secretly a Dark Lord of the Sith, owned several such statues.
