Imperial Garrison (Dathomir)

Sometime shortly before the Battle of Yavin, the Galactic Empire was rumored to maintain a small garrison on Dathomir. Light cruisers and exploratory craft were known to have made secret visits to the Outer Rim world and the Empire had taken a quiet interest in Dathomir, despite a lack of information on Imperial records. Despite the rumors of the Empire maintaining a garrison on Dathomir, there were no known logistics or personnel records to support the rumors.

Imperial personnel that were known to be assigned to Dathomir revealed little of their service there, and unsettling tales arose from certain individuals. The tales did not spread however, as those who revealed information and those who received it were known to have mysteriously disappeared.
