An Imperial sharpshooter was a type of specialist within the Galactic Empire's Imperial Army. During the Ghorman Massacre in 2 BBY, a sharpshooter carrying a DLT-20A blaster rifle was deployed as part of Captain Kaido's Ghorman crisis team and fired several shots at both Imperials and Ghormans to provoke a riot. During the Galactic Civil War, Migs Mayfeld served as a sharpshooter in the Army, passionately proclaiming, even years later, their greater skill compared to stormtroopers.
