Imperial swamp trooper

Imperial swamp troopers, also known simply as swamp troopers, and known informally as mudtroopers, were specialized Imperial Army troopers, infantry used by the Galactic Empire's Army, that specialized in and were equipped for combat operations on swampy terrain. Over the Imperial Era, Imperial swamp troopers were deployed to several worlds including a planet where they carried out a massacre, the Outer Rim Territories planet of Marca, and the Expansion Region planet of Mimban. During the Mimban Campaign, Imperial swamp troopers of the 224th Imperial Armored Division fought against the Mimbanese Liberation Army, where, alongside the wet-weather gear stormtroopers of the division, they suffered heavy losses due to both prolonged trench warfare and diseases such as trench foot.
