Istabith range garrison

The Istabith range garrison operated on the Core Worlds planet Alderaan and was located in the vicinity of its eponymous mountain range. The garrison was active during the Imperial Era and was staffed by royal guards that also worked in the Royal Palace of Alderaan. The garrison had at least one suborbital jumper, which the garrison's guards used to transport supplies.

In 3 BBY, several royal guards traveled on a suborbital jumper toward the Istabith range garrison on a supply run. The Alderaanian Princess Leia Organa joined them aboard the vessel and disembarked midway through the journey at her pathfinding class's chalet. As the guards continued on their trip, Organa waved at them as their jumper pulled away. By 1 BBY, the Istabith range garrison was destroyed along with the rest of Alderaan by the Galactic Empire's Death Star battle station.
