The Jarbanov Orbital Sorting Association was a scrapping organization based at the barren Expansion Region planet Jarbanov, located at the edge of the junker systems. The organization operated planetary mining rigs at Jarbanov and was unaffiliated with the scrapping guild that was based in the junker systems. Around 5 ABY, Major Soran Keize of the Galactic Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing made contact with a reliable ally in the Jarbanov Orbital Sorting Association and gathered information to coordinate an attack on Jarbanov.
