Justice (department)

Justice was a department of the Commission for the Preservation of the New Order's Coalition for Progress within the Galactic Empire. It had jurisdiction across the galaxy and a wider remit than might have been expected, being tasked with establishing acceptable galactic legal norms that would ensure the Empire's superiority. The historian Beaumont Kin briefly detailed the department in his book The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire, which was published in 35 ABY.
