The Linear Miasma Scientists were a group of scientists who studied the Linear Miasma nebula in the Endor system. They belonged to the Endorian Researchers Guild.
During the Galactic Civil War, the Linear Miasma Scientists were frequently threatened by a group of pirates, the Zynt'aia Spice Guardians, who were very active near the nebula. While the scientists used research vessels for their work, their guards piloted Z-95-AF4 Headhunters and T-65 X-wing starfighters.
After the Battle of Yavin, the scientists were also present in the Yavin system.
