Meditation team

Meditation teams were established by the Jedi Order after the discovery of the affliction known as the blight in the Jedi Temple on the Core Worlds planet Coruscant in 228 BBY. The teams were made of formidable mystics and were specially trained for extended in-depth meditation that kept the blight at bay. When Jedi Knight Reath Silas and his team traveled to the Mid Rim planet Kashyyyk after the blight was discovered there, a meditation team including Jedi Master Belka Poiryn traveled ahead of them, knowing the importance of combatting the blight as soon as possible.
