Canon Linked from 8 articles
In the Galactic Empire, the naval chiefs were the highest ranking officers of the various branches of the Imperial Navy. At a higher level, some of them were part of the Joint Chiefs of the Imperial Military, along with chiefs of the Imperial Army. At one point, Emperor Palpatine elected to meet several of his naval chiefs—three women and one man, named Tallatz, all admirals—on the starship Defiance, a mobile flight academy operated by Commandant Pell Baylo.
