The Neo-Tayans were a progressive faction of the Tayan League that took control of the party approximately 1,500 years before the Battle of Yavin and funded the creation of the Great Gran Run. Five hundred years into their leadership, a revolt broke out among the Dugs of Malastare, a Gran colony, which ultimately led to the isolation of Kinyen and the loss of its colonies and wealth.
