The Procurement Panel was a legislative organization within the Galactic Republic that was part of the Galactic Senate's Naval Subcommittee. Active during the time of the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the Procurement Panel contracted with various starship manufacturing corporations, such as Sienar Fleet Systems, Kuat Drive Yards, Corellian Engineering Corporation, Rendili StarDrive, Cygnus Spaceworks, Incom Corporation, and Sublights Products Corporation. The panel, as a result of its contracts with these corporations, accepted several of their starship designs for use in the Republic Navy.
