Rebel Marksman

A Rebel Marksman was a sniper who served in the Alliance to Restore the Republic. They were typically equipped with an E-17d sniper rifle, a DL-44 heavy blaster pistol as a side-arm, Class-A thermal detonators, and an R-4 recon droid, but some were outfitted with autoturrets in place of recon droids.

Rebel marksmen were deployed on many battlefields during the Galactic Civil War, including the raid on Yavin 4, the Battle of Hoth, and the Battle of Endor. They were motivated individuals, and a squad of them were capable of routing a whole company of Imperial stormtroopers. A prominent number of Rebel marksmen were women.
