Red Iaro

The Red Iaro were a terrorist group that operated on the planet Lannik during the Republic Era. By 33 BBY, Jedi Even Piell of the Jedi Order supposedly confronted the group while visiting his home planet of Lannik and engaged in battle with them. After the confrontation which resulted in a victory for Piell, he had lost his eye and formed a terrible scar on his face. Despite the wounds, Piell chose not to heal or conceal them, believing they were a gift for his courage and wore them proudly, seeing them as a mark of honor.
