The Republic Ambassadorial Corps was an organization within the Galactic Republic that was active before the outbreak of the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The Eta-class shuttle manufactured by Cygnus Spaceworks was originally designed to be used as a VIP transport for members of the Republic Ambassadorial Corps.
