Republic Treasury

The Republic Treasury was an organization in the Galactic Republic that was tasked with overseeing the government's economic system, including the printing of Republic credits. The Treasury was a vast agency of numerous bureaus and offices whose agents were responsible for investigating tax fraud, currency manipulation, and counterfeiting. It also had worked long in conjunction with major banking organizations, such as the Bank of the Core and the InterGalactic Banking Clan, to hold credit reserves, which would ensure currency stability.
