The Salissian special forces originated from the Salissia system in the Outer Rim Territories. The group was active during the Republic Era, hired to assist the Corporate Alliance and their Policy Administration Directorate as a defense force. They were employed by Magistrate Passel Argente, alongside other mercenary and privateering organizations, to defend the corporation's assets. In the Clone Wars, fought from 22 BBY to 19 BBY, the Salissian special forces sided with the Confederacy of Independent Systems against the Galactic Republic, fighting as part of the Separatist Droid Army.
