Scimitar Squadron was an elite TIE/sa bomber wing within the Imperial Navy. Led by Major Rhymer, the squadron was tasked with defending the Imperial second Death Star battle station's shield generator on the Forest Moon of Endor prior to 4 ABY's Battle of Endor, which saw the Death Star's destruction and individual TIE pilots within Scimitar Squadron attempting to escape the station.
