Shafr Center was an academic institution that shared its name with the Outer Rim Territories' Shafr system. It was affiliated with The Shafr Center Press, which in 38 ABY published the work The Shafr Anthology of Galactic Language, Second Edition. At some point by 3 ABY, the xenoarchaeologist Doctor Follnor Callat, who was notorious in academic circles and was disavowed by several galactic universities, was also dismissed from Prime Campus of Shafr Center.
