The Gamorrean warlord Shurg led a Gamorrean clan that controlled an abandoned Czerka Corporation facility on the planet Tatooine during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. Around the year 3643 BBY, Czerka required data stored at the abandoned facility. Czerka official Gayem Leksende made a deal with Shurg; in return for access to the data, the clan would be given weapons and speeders.
