Sons of Palawa

The Sons of Palawa were a warrior tribal group that resided on Tatooine in the time of the Cold War. This group had resided in settlements that were located in a cave system in the Jundland Wastes. They were noted for being a warrior people who believed in a code of honor and blood-feuds. This tribe traded with the Jawas and received Czerka Corporation droids that were linked to an old archaeological site concerning ancient alien technology. It was these droids that attracted an agent of the Imperial Reclamation Service who killed numerous Sons of Palawa thus attracting a blood-feud from them.

Afterwards, a Rakatan device transformed Perrin into an infected being who headed towards the Sons of Palawa settlement. This led to the Sith Empire contemplating eliminating either the infected before they spread or destroying the entire Sons settlement in order to contain the rampant alien technology.
