Tala Squadron

Tala Squadron was a Z-95 Headhunter squadron serving the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War fought between the Alliance and the Galactic Empire. The squadron's starfighters included Z-95-AF4 Headhunters and Z-95t Headhunters. By 4 ABY, the squadron's members included Colonel Airen Cracken flying the Z-95t Headhunter Tala 1, alongside a wingman, Lieutenant Blount, who flew the Z-95t Headhunter Tala 2.

Tala 1 was operationally assigned to support Alliance Special Forces commandos led by Crix Madine, an Alliance general, while its pilot, Cracken, often flew support missions for Madine's commando team. Likewise, Tala 2 was equipped with a sophisticated sensor suite to monitor Imperial activity during Alliance commandos' operations.
