TechTank was a small outlaw tech gang that operated in a concealed shop on the lower levels of the moon Nar Shaddaa during the Galactic Civil War. The gang was led by the Bothan Tennom and it secretly allied itself with the Hutt crime lord Sinasu. After Sinasu became embroiled in a gang war with the rival Hutt Noako, Sinasu took shelter among TechTank in their Nar Shaddaa base. However, the gang subsequently fell under attack by Cordol's Chain, a bounty hunter group that had been hired by Noako.
