Third Systems Army

Canon Linked from 6 articles

The Third Systems Army was one of ten Systems Armies of the Grand Army of the Republic. Because of the respect that Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi inspired within and outside of the Jedi Order, he was promoted to the military rank of High Jedi General as the commanding officer of several units of the Galactic Republic at the start of the Clone Wars.

These units included the Open Circle Fleet and the Republic Third Systems Army, with Clone Marshal Commander Cody of the 7th Sky Corps serving as his second-in-command. As a System Army, the Third Systems Army consisted of two Sector Armies and contained 294,912 clone troopers.
