Trang Robotics was a family-owned corporation that had a long and respected history. Based on the moon Drewwa in the Almanian system, the company's headquarters were lavish and featured workshops staffed by master-craftsmen. They manufactured the Duelist Elite fencing training droid.

The success of the Duelist Elite led to the creation of the formidable GX1-series battle droid. During the Second Galactic Civil War, they constructed tiny acrobat droids.
