Unidentified pirate group (Rooper Nitani)

A pirate group operated during the High Republic Era. By around 377 BBY, the group planned to illegally purchase a large stash of smuggled weapons from Ullan Yite, the leader of the Bright Circle criminal organization, in the floating city Penumbra in the Outer Rim's Tollello system. The pirates intended to use the weapons in a series of raids on other settlements in the Dail sector. Jedi Knight Rooper Nitani, Jedi Master Silandra Sho, and the church droid P3-7A learned that without Yite, the operation would collapse and the pirates would be rendered toothless, and so infiltrated the deal with the aim of arresting him, which they did successfully. Around that year, Nitani made a pilgrimage to the Holy City on the moon Jedha and visited the bar Enlightenment, where she spoke with Piralli and Moona—friends of P3-7A and his previous owner, Keth Cerepath—and mentioned the pirate group while telling them about the mission to arrest Yite.
