A traveling air rodeo that featured thrantas was owned at one point by a female owner. An animal rights group kidnapped the woman who owned the rodeo, planning to starve her for a week. They did this to show her how the large, winged thrantas felt when they nearly starved during the transportation process due to the lack of sunlight necessary for photosynthesis.
After the rodeo's owner was captured, some well known individuals in area were asked to help find the owner.
