Unidentified weapons smuggling ring

A weapons smuggling ring was active in the Anoat sector of the Outer Rim Territories during the reign of the Galactic Empire. The smugglers stole disruptor rifles and reconfigured them before providing the weapons to several criminal syndicates in the sector. In 3 ABY, the Imperial Security Bureau arrested five members of the smuggling ring, with the arrests then covered in a HoloNet News broadcast by reporter Dorna Parros.
