Utilitech was a droid manufacturing company that partnered with GoCorp to produce the RO-series childcare and nanny droid. Although GoCorp was primarily a repulsorcraft manufacturer, it happily provided smooth and reliable drive systems for Utilitech's service droids. Accordingly, the uni-wheel drive system and chassis of the WA-7 waitress droid was used as the basis for the RO-series, which proved a lasting success for the two companies.
