Xrexus Cartel

The Xrexus Cartel was a criminal organization and gang led by Boss-Mistress Xev Xrexus during the late Republic Era, a time in which the underworld was thriving across the galaxy. The cartel began as a collection of semi-legitimate droid manufacturing firms that collectivized in order to fix prices and distribute unlicensed combat automata in the Outer Rim. Overall, however, the cartel was a smaller criminal force.

In 33 BBY, Xrexus captured the Jedi Padawan Eldra Kaitis and intended to sell her at an auction. The auction was infiltrated by the Sith apprentice Darth Maul, who killed Kaitis in a skirmish on the moon of Drazkel and then Xrexus herself. Maul destroyed the cartel along with her, but it was back in operation by the time of the Imperial Era.
