The 80-100 laser cannon was manufactured by Senko Systems, and was the primary laser weapon on early versions of the TIE/IN interceptor. On such ships, double-helix prismatic crystals were used to generate the cannon's laser beam, giving the weapons a lifespan of approximately 20.000 shots before the crystal became unusable due to erosion.
