Acceleration strap

Canon Legends version → Linked from 1 article

The minicruiser Brightbird's pilot seats had acceleration straps. In 382 BBY, during the Hyperspace Chase, the other contestants attempted to gain a head start by using multiple diversion tactics, including dropping ion mines. This prompted Jedi Padawan Rooper Nitani to make sure her acceleration straps were secure. She also reached over and grabbed one of Dass Leffbruk's, tugging it as a reminder for him to also fasten it.
