A crop with certain traits could be designated as an AgriStar-modified crop by the Imperial Era. In 19 BBY, the Alvadorjian operative Soujen Vak-Nhalis listened to local news stations on the planet Li'eta via the comms on a skimmer. One of the channels he flicked to was broadcasting two speakers, both debating the merits of AgriStar modified-crops. However, Vak-Nhalis switched to another channel shortly afterward.
