Ai

Ai was a sign in the astrological system of the planet Shili. It was marked by the formation of blue dwarfs nearby, and individuals born under it were supposed to have wisdom, charisma, and exceptional virility. In these respects, it was similar to the sign Genry from Coruscanti astrology. During the Imperial Era, the Apprentice Legislator Amilyn Holdo studied astrology and learned about the sign.

In 3 BBY, an Imperial captain questioned Holdo and her colleague, Princess Leia Organa, as they departed a star system under investigation—the Paucris system. Holdo dodged the captain's line of questioning on their recent travels by noting that they had instead been leaving the Shili system—a system with similar ionization properties to the Paucris system—and flustering the official by implying he was a Genry.
