The Alazhixazha, Vratix Occupation or Thriving Season was a time period marked by the Vratix dominance of the bacta market. The natives of Thyferra under the Ashern forced the Bacta Cartel to compete with local companies and alien business interests, including the Hutts. This period saw consumer awareness of bacta skyrocket galaxywide and was a popular setting for numerous holoserials during the New Republic era.
