Alchemy of flesh

Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

The alchemy of flesh was a Je'daii form of alchemy practiced at Anil Kesh, the Temple of Science. The Je'daii Ranger Lanoree Brock studied the practice in her spare time under the guidance of Master Dam-Powl. In a compartment of her Peacemaker starship, Brock was working on crafting a living being from cells. Checking on it, she noticed that blood dribbled from forming veins, vestigial limbs flapped around and it had milky eyes. Brock had created it from her own flesh. In the early stages, it had no mind and Lanoree wondered if it could feel pain.
