Alpha 2 was the callsign of a TIE fighter pilot serving the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War. In 3 ABY, Alpha 2 participated in a battle near the planet Remitik against forces of the Rebel Alliance that were retreating from the Battle of Hoth. The engagement was the pilot's first combat experience.
