Alpha One

Alpha One was the highest security level in use by the Imperial Military on the DS-1 Death Star Mobile Battle Station in 1 BBY. Alpha-One-level clearance empowered an Imperial officer to supersede all other active commands, directives, and subroutines in a droid, and utilize Imperial Protocol Alpha One to establish a new priority protocol. As the commander of the Death Star battle station, Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin held that clearance level.
