Armored Vest

Armored vests are a type of armored clothing that were lightweight but durable. They were similar in design to flak vests and blast vests but were significantly more robust as they could shrug off several blows from even a lightsaber yet were so light that they didn’t impede the wearer’s movement whatsoever. The vest seemed to consist of a light mesh with a layer of armor plates woven into it and an integrated deflector shield. Kyle Katarn and Mara Jade have both worn at least one set each during their respective missions.
