Bacteria was an organism that was potentially harmful to living beings, and could be found in some sources of drinking water. Pretormin Environmental's WPR-60 water purifier was designed to eliminate over ninety-nine percent of all known harmful bacteria, viruses or other contaminants through the use of microbiological filtering agents, heating and radiation elements. The resulting water was clean and safe to drink or cook with.
