Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.
The Bakuuni Hand was a type of martial art practiced by some members of the Jedi Order during the time of the Galactic Republic. Bakuuni martial artists strengthened their hands, feet, and forearms with the Force while making unarmed strikes; according to the Jedi Crix Sunburris, who included a mention of the Bakuuni Hand while covering exotic weapons specialists in The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force, a trained Bakuuni master could pulverize solid rock with a single strike.
