Broken Columns Clan

The Broken Columns Clan was a group of men, led and founded around 33 ABY by the Hapan-born Tasander Dest on the planet Dathomir. It was the only clan of men that did not attack the Raining Leaves Clan, a tribe of Dathomiri witches, shortly after the massacre that befell them. The two clans established a new custom: they convened every year near Redgill Lake and arranged marriages that lasted one year. Male children were handed over to their fathers, while female children remained with the Raining Leaves Clan.
