Brothers of Barbeen

The Brothers of Barbeen was a group that shared its name with the Barbeen system of the Deep Core. Its members wore ultrachrome, a superconductive metal that was resistant to the plasma blades of lightsabers, the signature weapon of the Jedi Order. That fact was noted by Jedi Master Skarch Vaunk in a chapter of the 990 BBY Jedi trainee guidebook The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force.
